Treasures Charity Thrift Store is a social and vocational program offering volunteer work opportunities for people living with mental health issues who are at a point in their recovery ready to reintegrate into the community. These individuals work alongside volunteer job coaches from the community in all aspects of the store’s operation. Our Program Volunteers, while engaged in meaningful and useful work, are able to gain new skills, find peer support and build relationships interacting with co-workers and customers.
In addition to our Program Volunteer positions there are also a variety of volunteer opportunities for family members and individuals or groups from the community as Job Coaches in the retail store or on the Board of Directors.
