About Us

Treasures Charity Thrift Shop has been selling gently used clothing, linens, house wares, books, jewellery and collectables at reasonable prices in the Richmond Hill area for over 25 years. Our store provides a supportive  workplace for individuals in mental health recovery to engage in meaningful and worthwhile work. This community based program provides opportunities for peer support, skills development and consumer leadership. Through participation in the store’s operation, volunteers can learn new skills and work collaboratively with other volunteers and community members. Volunteers gain a sense of wellbeing while building new relationships and sharing mutual experiences. Treasures is a friendly and inviting atmosphere in which to work, shop and socialize.
